As a clinical pharmacist trained in functional medicine, I believe there are times when prescription medications are necessary, but also that the body has an innate ability to function and heal itself when provided the nutritional tools and support to do so. I work with patients to optimize diet, sleep, stress management and moving their bodies to transform their health. Some of my patients have reduced their need to take prescription medications by healing their bodies with this approach.
